—Mauk |
Jamoru (ジャモル ) is home to Commander Mauk's species, the "Simians". It is shown under Space Pirate attack in the final chapter of Metroid: Volume 2. Mauk leads the defense. He exclaims that he refuses to allow the Pirates to make a "hunting ground" of his home planet, and vows to protect it even if he must do so alone. This proves unnecessary as Kreatz comes to assist him, having not been needed on his home planet. They both decide to travel to Zebes after saving Jamoru, to assist Samus with her Zero Mission. However, she manages to complete the mission herself, without their assistance.
