The Jump Strike (as named in Metroid Prime Hunters: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide) is a physical attack that serves as the Alt Form Weapon of the Triskelion. Trace is capable of performing a lunge attack against enemies, which deals severe damage. Combined with his natural invisibility, this makes the Jump Strike one of the most powerful Alt Form Weapons in Metroid Prime Hunters, as it allows Trace to damage enemies before they can react and evade him. When performing the move, Trace jumps and appears to do a forward flip while slashing whatever is in front of him.

Because Trace does a forward leap as part of the Jump Strike, the move can also be used to artificially move faster and chase opponents similarly to Samus Aran's Boost Ball.

• The Jump Strike bears a strong resemblance to a Splinter's lunge attack in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
