The Kreep[1] (クリープ )[2] is a species in Metroid Dread.
Description[]
A Kreep is a brown slug-like creature with yellow eyes. Kreeps slowly crawl along any surface they can stick to, including walls and ceilings. Although typically found on land, a Kreep can be found crawling underwater in Artaria, indicating that they are amphibious.
Kreeps play a similar role to the Zoomers of Zebes-set Metroid games, as well as other wall-crawling creatures. They are very weak and can be killed with a couple of beam shots or a single Dash Melee. They are not hostile and do not actively seek to hurt Samus Aran, but they do deal damage on contact.
After the X Parasites are released from Elun, all Kreeps are infected along with every other bioform on ZDR, but their behavior or attacks do not change as a result. Unlike Klaida or Muzby, X-infected Kreeps do not appear to become more aggressive.
