Kyle Hefley is an American video game artist. He is currently the Lead Character Artist at Retro Studios and served in that capacity for Metroid Prime Remastered. He may now be working on Metroid Prime 4.[2]
Prior to joining Retro Studios, Hefley was a senior modeler who worked at 343 Industries for nine years as the senior character modeler for the Halo series, including Halo 4, 5: Guardians and Infinite. His other credits include Call of Duty: Black Ops and Sleeping Dogs.[3]
It was announced by Video Games Chronicle on October 29, 2019 that Hefley had been hired at Retro Studios as their lead character artist, but he actually joined the company on August 30th.[4]
Five years prior to joining Retro, Hefley created textureless models of Samus Aran in her Zero Suit and Varia Suit (sans helmet), which he shared on his ArtStation profile.
