Description

Landing Site Charlie obstructions

Samus melts one of the metallic deposits on the Landing Pad.

The landing pad is square, and at first is littered with metallic deposits and Phazon canisters. There are also several Phazon growths on the pad. Curved safety shields are in place around the edges of the pad. The rest of the room is composed of pipes and wires. A large tunnel hatch allows Ships to leave the site to reach other locations on the Homeworld. Finally, Phazon pods are slotted into ports on the right-hand side of the room, presumably for storage purposes.

The room is different from other Pirate Landing Sites in that Samus does not land her Gunship here when she initially visits the Pirate Mines. Instead, Samus reaches this area after exploring the Mines. Although this landing site could be seen on Samus' map of the planet, she was not able to dock there. When Samus arrives in the room, there are many obstructions blocking the pad, which are preventing her ship from landing. Samus must melt the metallic deposits to raise the Landing Beacons again and Command her ship to dock.
