The Lesser Ithrak are inhabitants of the Alimbic Cluster in Metroid Prime Hunters, distinguished by their large, multi-jawed mouths. These fierce, reptilian bipeds are nocturnal, and hang from ceilings when at rest. Although the Lesser Ithraks are tough predators, they are dwarfed in comparison to the Greater Ithrak. They are notably weaker while they are hanging from the ceiling. As Samus approaches them, they will swing from their ceiling positions and make warning noises to try and scare her away. If another creature draws too close, they will jump down and attack by swiftly lunging forward. As they lunge forward, if they miss, they will fall down. At this point, they will take an incredible amount of extra damage if struck from behind.
They slightly resemble the Dragotix from Metroid: Other M.
