The "'''Headquarters exterior'''" is witnessed in a flashback Samus has of her time in the Federation Army (the same one that depicts the "battle ground"). This appears to be set in an outdoor landing strip, with a crane, crates and dropships resembling the ''[[Galactic Federation Military Transport Hygieia|Hygieia]]'' visible in the background. As Samus alludes to a "certain incident" (later revealed to be the death of Adam's brother, Ian), she is shown approaching Adam and giving him a brief nod, before walking past him. Adam proceeds forward, without a reaction. This scene symbolizes her decision to leave his command and become a [[Bounty Hunter]].

List of rooms in Metroid: Other M

The links above provide the lists of rooms for their respective areas in Metroid: Other M. Any unused, inaccessible, or otherwise special case rooms will be listed below. Any room that has an official proper name or otherwise meets the parameters in the room policy may be eligible for an article of its own.

Mothership hallway

The "Mothership hallway" is a nondescript corridor seen on the mothership. A pair of bright fluorescent lights stretches across the ceiling. Shortly after Samus completes her training, she proceeds through this corridor to a door to the meeting room. She stands in a biohazard scanner and scans her iris before the door opens, and she steps inside. The door is reflective and has a similar design to that of Navigation Booth doors on the BOTTLE SHIP.

Battle ground

The "battle ground" is a war zone seen in a brief flashback to Samus's days with the Galactic Federation Army. The flashback occurs when Samus encounters Adam and the 07th Platoon in the Cargo Hold. It is a desert landscape surrounded by jagged rocks in the ground and . In the flashback, Adam gives an order while at least three other unknown soldiers shoot at unseen enemies. Samus - wearing her original Power Suit, which is destroyed during Metroid: Zero Mission - jumps off of a rock and fires several blasts before landing on the ground, with Adam watching the whole move. The context of the battle, as well as its location, is unknown.

Galactic Federation Headquarters

Headquarters observation hall

Adam's office

"Adam's office" is briefly seen in the same cutscene as the above hallway. It is the office of Commander Adam Malkovich when he is not on a mission.

While Samus is musing about how she saw Adam as a father figure, Adam is shown seated at his desk, signing a document before he stands up and looks out the window. The camera briefly pans to a photograph on his desk depicting Samus, Adam and his brother Ian. A flag, potentially a Galactic Federation one, is situated behind his desk.

The "Headquarters exterior" is witnessed in a flashback Samus has of her time in the Federation Army (the same one that depicts the "battle ground"). This appears to be set in an outdoor landing strip, with a crane, crates and dropships resembling the Hygieia visible in the background. BOTTLE SHIP

Stasis room

The "stasis room" is a nondescript chamber somewhere within the BOTTLE SHIP, potentially Sector Zero. It may represent an unexplorable room, and is only seen briefly during a flashback. As Samus is musing about what led MB to turn on her creators, MB is depicted in a room with three large stasis tanks behind her and one to her right. She regards an Infant Metroid - potentially that which later became the Queen Metroid - with motherly affection. She holds her hand up under it, which Samus also did with the baby, as seen in the flashback of its birth in Other M (and years later, during the recreation of the scene in Metroid: Samus Returns).

Unknown room

An unknown room is shown in the same scene, albeit not in great detail. The setting of this room is also unknown. It features a computer screen. MB is shown sitting at the desk, with Madeline coming behind her and remarking that her hairclip "looks great on you". The name "Melissa Bergman" is displayed on the screen, with Madeline telling MB "That's your name."
