This is a list of rooms on Itorash in Metroid Dread. Larger rooms have their own pages and are linked here. All of these names are unofficial; such names will be highlighted in quotation marks.

Aerial Observation[]

"Aerial Observation" is the first room on Itorash. It appears in Metroid Dread. This is where the Transport Capsule that takes Samus to Itorash lands. It is a large horizontal chamber divided in half by a central structure with an elongated walkway on top. The lower left half is highlighted in mauve on the Map to indicate it is a transportation room; while the rest of the room is colored grey when explored as normal. Tucked into the left side of the lower right half of the room is a Total Recharge Station; the last of its kind before the final battle.

The back wall is lined with windows, through which the sky of ZDR can be seen. Chozo characters are etched into the wall on either side of the upper walkway and near the Recharge Station, reading "MUH". In the center of the upper walkway is a command console, with three holographic displays. One of them in the center features what appears to be Samus' helmet. Above the console is a large contraption on the ceiling that rotates in a spiraling fashion.

The first glimpse of this room occurs when Samus defeats a Takumaku in Hanubia after her left hand flares with purple energy. As she examines her hand, it is revealed that Raven Beak is spying on her from within this room.[1] Shortly before the final battle with him, it is revealed that he was impersonating ADAM throughout her mission on ZDR. It is possible that he spoke to her from the terminal in this room, and issued commands to the E.M.M.I. and Robot Chozo Soldiers.

The Itorash Save Station is the final Save Station in Metroid Dread. It no different than any other Save Station in the game in terms of appearance. If Samus saves here, dies while fighting Raven Beak and the checkpoint in the next room is not reloaded, she will respawn here.

Throne room elevator[]

Throne room elevator

The "throne room elevator" is a room on Itorash. It appears in Metroid Dread. This room is the penultimate chamber in Itorash. It features a lift near the top, that goes up to the "Mawkin throne room", where Raven Beak dwells. A large structure exists in the center of the room, with an upper platform that stretches into the foreground with a rounded edge. Encircling the background wall are four buttresses illuminated with turquoise lights. The structure is supported by two curved girders on either side.

Dividing the room in half is a capsule with glowing orange energy. While it resembles Zebetite, it does not shrink when attacked and it cannot be damaged with Missiles or Charge Beam shots. The only way it can be destroyed is with a Power Bomb; when obliterated, the capsule breaks, causing debris to scatter around the base of the structure. It also yields significant amounts of Missile and Power Bomb Ammo, although it is likely unnecessary since the entrance to Itorash has a Total Recharge Station. Part of the structure is bent and disfigured as a result of the explosion, with the damaged ends glowing orange, although they cool quickly.[2] Destroying the barrier also obliterates Power Bomb Blocks on the upper right of the structure, opening a path up to the top of it, and exposes a floor of Pit Blocks on its left side.

As with all other elevators on ZDR, Samus can use it by standing on a pressure pad. She will then be presented with an option to use the elevator; if she does, she will run up a short set of steps into a shaft with a floating lift platform. It then takes Samus up a long shaft; she looks upward as she ascends. Notably, the elevator shaft rather resembles those found in Super Metroid, such as the one connected to the "Green Brinstar Main Shaft". Chozo characters reading "ORO" are etched into the wall on either side of the elevator, possibly representing the Chozo word for "up".

Should Samus die during her fight with Raven Beak, a checkpoint will place her back in the throne room elevator, next to the lift.

Mawkin throne room[]

MetroidDread RavenBeak ThroneRoom Itorash

The "Mawkin throne room" is a room on Itorash. It appears in Metroid Dread. This is the throne room of the Mawkin tribe of Chozo on ZDR, and it is where Samus faces off against Raven Beak at the end of the game. The Mawkin throne room is located in the topmost section of Itorash, and is accessed via a tall vertical elevator. The throne room prominently features Raven Beak's throne, set between two massive Chozo Soldier statues; more statues stand around the circumference of the room. The statues are holding swords, and they have their heads bowed in deference. Large dark red banners hang from above, embroidered in gold with the Mawkin emblem. The room's walls are largely taken up by enormous windows that appear to be formed by a red Force Field, overlooking a cloudy sky with bright sunlight.

With the throne and statues situated in the background, the room provides plenty of open space for the boss battle against Raven Beak.
