Temple Sanctuary[]
The Temple Sanctuary is a room in the Great Temple. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. The Temple Sanctuary is a mid-sized room possessing much space to walk around in. The center houses tall Statues surrounding an inner central area, with these statues still housing power when Samus first arrives in this room. Many chambers containing sleeping Luminoth in stasis can be found on he sides of the room behind windows; these are the last members of U-Mos's species. This is the room where Samus faces several Splinters and an Alpha Splinter before they eventually turned into Dark Splinters and a Dark Alpha Splinter. She gains the Energy Transfer Module following their defeat. This room had many gates guarding the paths to Agon, Torvus and Sanctuary Sectors.
The Dark Aetherian version of this room was the Sanctum, although due to the inverted nature of the Sky Temple, it actually occupied the same space as the Sky Temple Energy Controller.

Main Energy Controller[]
The Main Energy Controller is a major room in the Great Temple. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. This spacious room houses the Planetary energy of the Temple Grounds, and perhaps all of Aether itself. Small gates allow for viewing the outside. Aside from the eponymous Main Energy Controller itself, this room is the location of U-Mos, the last active member of the Luminoth species, as well as a Luminoth Lore Projector containing the Origins entry, and (after the energy network is restored) the Light Suit and an access point for Aether's light-based teleportation system. It is here where the conflict between Luminoth and Ing is explained, and where Samus receives the first upgrade to her Translator Module.
Its Dark Aether counterpart is the Sky Temple Energy Controller, although due to the inverted nature of the Sky Temple it actually occupies the same space as the Sanctum.
