Landing Site[]
The Landing Site is the small cave in which Samus Aran crash-lands at the Temple Grounds of Aether because of the environmental storms of this world. It is the first room in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and the demo on the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc. The Landing Site is the first and last room seen in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. The room's name is odd, considering it was not intended to be Samus' point of landing, nor does it seem optimised by the Luminoth for ships.
The room contains a variety of different height pillars, with glowing red crystals attached to them on differing sides. These were once apparently a means of energy conversion and distribution, but have since fallen in to disrepair due to lack of maintenance, and are now only decorative. However, one statue has a purple crystal, and will move from its position to serve as a platform to a higher area of the room, if hit by a shot of Light matter. The body of the Keybearer M-Dhe can be found here, on the ledge which connects to Service Access. In the Bonus Disc, the statue that can be used to get to Service Access does not work, and M-Dhe is missing. Also, the Blue Door leading to Service Access remains locked.

Transit Hall[]
Transit Hall, known in the final game as Agon Transport Access is a room in the Temple Grounds. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It consists of a long glass tube over empty air. On the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc, it is called Transit Hall on the Map and it connects directly from the Landing Site to the Agon Wastes transport elevator. There is a single Kralee present roaming around one side of the tunnel, this Kralee does not warp.

Sand Elevator[]
The Sand Elevator, known as Transport to Agon Wastes in the final game, is a room in the Temple Grounds. It appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. There is an elevator near the edge of a cliff with some webbing to the left side, which hides a Missile Expansion. Using the Scan Visor on an Interface Module close to the elevator will activate it.In the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc, the Luminoth Webbing blocking the Missile Expansion is missing, as is the expansion itself. When approaching the ledge, a message, "Warning: Terminal Fall Ahead!" appears. Additionally, the Moth Temple Landing Site theme continues to play here, which it does not in the final game.
