SkyTown, Elysia[]
Main Docking Bay[]
The Main Docking Bay is a large circular room in SkyTown, Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The Main Docking Bay is the first place Samus lands on Elysia and like most of SkyTown is highly decorative. A statue of a Chozo head is built overlooking the Docking Bay's main entrance.
As with much of SkyTown, the Main Docking Bay is exposed to the sky. Ships and other vessels are mainly docked here, and so the area has Landing Beacons. A Chozo Artifact symbol is present on the landing pad. Several canisters and Fuel Pods are situated out of the way of the landing pad, presumably for refueling docked ships. A ramp under the statue leads up through a corridor to an observation area, with a large green windowpane that overlooks the landing pad from under the statue.

Main Docking Access[]
The second room of SkyTown is the Main Docking Access. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. In it lies a Chozo Elder statue entangled in Phazon vines with its right arm extended for Samus Aran to lie in while in Morph Ball form. Once atop the statue's hand, barrier that was in front of the statue retracts. When a Morph Ball Bomb is deployed, the statue attempts to move, but fails. In order to clear the statue's path of its Phazon vine obstructions, the Hyper Ball must be performed. After the Phazon vines are removed, the statue retreats downward in a spiraling motion. Once the statue has been removed, two ornamental frames are revealed, hanging between two Grapple Swing Points and obstructing the path. Once destroyed, Samus can grapple across to solid ground with five SkyTown Storage Units along the walls. At the southern-most part of the room lies a SkyTown Blue Door leading to Zipline Station Alpha. "Dragoon" Battle Drones will appear if later revisited.

Zipline Station Alpha[]
Zipline Station Alpha is a wide open room in SkyTown. Upon entering the room, Samus gets a glimpse of how large the entire Skytown facility is (via cutscene). This room marks the first encounter with a Zipline Cable, which must be used for Samus to proceed, as the Zipline Cable is the only thing connecting between pods. On the Zipline Cable hang multiple Zipline Gates. Upon looking southeast, Samus can observe several other pods in the distance connected by Zipline Cables as well. Aerial Repair Drones can be found next to various parts of the Zipline Cable floating in place.

Arrival Station[]
Arrival Station is a room on SkyTown, Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The Arrival Station consists of two separated areas, one part being the main ground, the other being the top of a Communications satellite. The main area is split by a raised area only accessible by using a Grab Ledge. Upon entering the room for the first time, Samus can find a gear that will "cease to function" if the lack of maintenance continues. Two Tinbots will activate on the first visit. Three more Tinbots are encountered outside of the pod as Samus proceeds towards the south; continuing along this path leads to a relatively-narrow passageway inside of the pod, leading to a small area containing a Databot that contains the SkyTown Data "Gift", three holographic projectors displaying Ghor's image (although after Samus restores SkyTown's network Aurora Unit 217's image will display), an offline battery unit, and a SkyTown Blue Door leading to Hub Access.

Transit Hub[]
Transit Hub is a room in SkyTown, the floating city of planet Elysia. Like many accessible "rooms" in the city, it is open to the air. It is notably the only room to contain a Theronian Bomb piece and not to be in Eastern SkyTown. As the name suggests, this room is the main hub for transport across the primary sector of SkyTown. As such, Transit Hub is the biggest room in the entire facility.
The room begins at a balcony area containing a Kinetic Orb Cannon which launches inserted objects accross the huge several-hundred feet gap to the central pod of the room. An opposite Orb Cannon is situated at the tageted impact point of the first, and a safety shield will engage to receive the fired object. Here, a small tunnel system is the only way to reach the other side of the pod, as progression is blocked by a metal wall. The caged tunnel leads through this wall. On the other side is a roof structure that protrudes from the central pod, which also serves as containment for the Third Bomb Component. Damaging nuclear beams project down from the bomb piece to an open section in the walkway, which glow a bright white.
Past the bomb piece is a Zipline Cable, and also another, more ornate Kinetic Orb Cannon intended for longer distances. However, access to this device is blocked by discarded metal slag. This debris can be removed by use of a high temperature weapon system. The Zipline cable leads across the area, and takes users under a large metal support line that connects the sky pods in this room. A small, scar in the wall of this area is round and crater-shaped, likely from many objects being transferred to this point by Orb Cannon over time.
On the Zipline itself are several doors which bar the user from retaining a smooth course. Their hinges are weak however, and any trauma from a beam weapon could easily open or even remove them from the track. The Zipline curves around the room, but eventually meets the third sky pod in the room which leads to the next room within.

Barracks Access[]
Barracks Access is a small, curved room connecting Transit Hub and Steambot Barracks in SkyTown, the floating city in the sky of planet Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The room's main feature is a red laser security grid that pans between a small lower level in the room. It was installed to prevent intruders from moving further into the SkyTown facility. The four small laser beams that are stacked on top of each other are projected out of slotted grooves in the wall. The eight beams move forwards and backwards through the room in parallel to each other, and the lasers cast a red hue over the whole room. Contact with the lasers will severely damage life forms.
The north ledge of the lower level has a small alcove inside, containing a Missile Expansion. Small circular panels that glow a bright green are placed decoratively around the room to contrast with the red of the security lasers. Some of these panels rotate in the walls. Also placed at the Transit Hub entrance are holographic projectors that can receive transmissions. When Samus first enters, an image of Ghor is displayed. After restoring Aurora Unit 217, its image is displayed instead. Odd gear and wheel designs and patterns are also situated on the walls and ceiling.

Steambot Barracks[]
The Steambot Barracks is a room on SkyTown, Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The room is a hibernation chamber for one of the Steamlords of SkyTown, and it also houses several of its dormant Steambot drones as well. The room is a medium-sized chamber with two levels. There are six Elysian recharge chambers around the ground floor of the room, where Steambots reside during regeneration cycles. If an intruder presence is detected, the room will be sealed and the Steambots will be deployed from these units to attack. A large metal containment device is present in the centre of the room. The Steamlord is present within, and will also be awoken in the event of enemy intrusion. The containment device will retract into the floor, and a small pod will be launched into the air, from which the Steamlord will be released. Notably this pod is similar to an Elysian satellite, and will continue its ascent after the Steamlord has left it. Before the Steamlord emerges, noises can be heard from inside it. It is likely that the Steamlord made these noises, although the chamber itself might have been the source.
Near the top of the room is an elevator which will descend into a mid way point in the room. Here, a small hatch can be entered that leads into a maintenence tunnel network, where two small pistons are present. These appear to be for the purpose of energy generation, but one is malfunctioning. This network eventually leads out into the ground floor through an opening in an empty Elysian Recharge Chamber. However, to the right of the elevator is a hatch that will lead onto a ledge. From here, one can jump down into the main section of the room where the Steambots are present. This hatch, however, can only be opened from the ledge-side via interaction with a small terminal.

Zipline Station Bravo[]
Zipline Station Bravo is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room is, as the name implies, a long Zipline Cable station. When Samus rides on the rail, numerous floating objects will try to knock her off. She must shoot them to continue moving. At the end of the rail is a large cannon with four Locking mechanisms on it. When deactivated the cannon will allow Samus access to a quicker transport to Transit Hub.

Aurora Chamber[]
The Aurora Chamber is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The room is a large containment facility for SkyTown's Aurora Unit, 217. It has two levels; the main floor for interacting with the AU, and the lower level for the Aurora Unit's maintenance. The main floor consists of a curved hallway connecting nearby rooms and a ramp leading to a communications terminal for interfacing with the Aurora Unit, which is initially blocked off by a Kinetic Lock. The curved hallway is dotted with purple, unscannable vegetation growing in pools of Phazon that remains even after Elysia is purged of corruption. If Samus jumps in this Phazon, it will make a splashing sound. This is the only room in which this happens. The lower floor is a maintenance basement configured for 217's residence. It contains many Circuit boards and possesses multiple small stations built specifically to spawn Tinbots, likely as a means of security feature for the Aurora Unit. One such station also houses a Gun Socket used to upload data into 217's network.

Maintenance Shaft AU[]
Maintenance Shaft AU is a room in the floating cloud-city SkyTown, of planet Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It is a fairly long but small room that is the south-eastern room of the Aurora Unit complex. The room consists of two ledges at each end, separated by a large gulf that can only be crossed via a higher ledge in the centre of the room. At each edge of this section is a Grab Ledge. On the south wall are several Chozo runes that are very similar to the appearance of the Chozo Artifacts of Tallon IV and glow a bright turquoise. Many Sky Puffers patrol the room and can make progression hazardous.

Spire Dock[]
SkyTown's Spire Dock (also called the Spire Pod and the Spire) is initially a room of SkyTown, Elysia in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room is also the location that holds the Theronian Bomb after the completion of the weapon. The Spire Dock is a large floating pod that has three engines. The Spire appears to have been designed to be separated from SkyTown for construction. A holding chamber at the top of the Spire can host large items and ships, and is controlled by Aurora Unit 217 from the Aurora Chamber. Three ziplines on the side of the Spire connect to three portions of the city, so the Dock is also a sort of crossroads. After the Theronian Bomb is used on the Leviathan's shield, the Spire Dock is permanently destroyed, with no signs of being rebuilt, and Samus has to cross using Kinetic Orb Cannons instead, while sacrificing the use of traveling to the Aurora Unit Chamber.

Podworks[]
Podworks is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The Podworks is the interior of the Spire. Upon entrance, there is an L-shaped Morph Ball tunnel that ends with a piston going down into the room. Progress is impeded by metals that will melt if shot with a high temperature weapon. The room itself is square in shape, with a central square-shaped tower containing an almost eye-like construct. A damaged circuit board is by each side; the one on the right is covered by plating that must be ripped off. A final circuit board is found within the tower, blocked by a fragile gate that can be also be ripped off. Repairing all of the boards causes two cables to light up and bring power to the Pod, while the Skytown Announcer says "Escape pod online."

Junction[]
The Junction is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The room is a large circular corridor that acts as an intersection between various routes in main SkyTown. The center of the room houses machinery enclosed within walls, requiring Samus to walk around it through curved halls. There are four doors at the north, east, south and west edges of the Junction. While three of the doors are standard SkyTown Blue Doors, the eastern door is protected by a White Blast Shield. Once destroyed, it will be permanently removed.
A significant pile of immovable debris from the ceiling blocks one side of the corridor, impeding progress for standard humanoids. However, a small opening at the pile's base allows smaller life-forms to pass through. A Chozo bust of Dryn, a key scientist in Power Suit technology, can be found projecting above one of the four doors. Several Chozo markings can also be seen on some portions of the walls.
Above one door is a large holographic projector, the kind that can be seen around SkyTown depicting Ghor's image and after being cured Aurora Unit 217's, although unlike the kind that appears throughout SkyTown, this particular one is indestructible. Interestingly, in this room behind a barrier are several objects resembling Atomics. Likely due to the large machinery in the center, this room often shakes with a rusty metal noise, with dust falling from the ceiling. Despite this possible concern, the room does not appear of falling apart anytime soon.

Hoverplat Docking Site[]
Hoverplat Docking Site is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Despite what the name might suggest, this room is not a Landing Site. Rather, the room is a wide open space, containing many floating platforms above the clouds of Elysia. The peak of the Leviathan Shield is visible through the clouds, as with all other outdoor SkyTown rooms. To cross the large chasm, Samus must utilize the Screw Attack. On one of the platforms is a Spider Ball Track that comes into use later. Above said platform is another one, with a Databot floating above it. Samus can stand on this platform by using the Spider Ball Track, but can scan the Databot's SkyTown Data entry from below.

Skybridge Hera[]
Skybridge Hera is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Similar to Skybridge Athene, although larger, Skybridge Hera consists of a bridge suspended over the vast abyss of Elysia below. This bridge is unstable, and would collapse if enough weight was placed onto it.
When Samus enters this room, there will be two dilapidated gates in front of her, which she can remove. This is the end of the floor, and Samus will drop onto a more unstable portion of the bridge. Scanning it will recommend that Samus does not traverse it, but she has no choice. As she continues, she will come across parts of Steambots that the Steamlord will reanimate. She has a choice to either destroy them or to avoid them and keep moving. Once Samus removes the second dilapidated gate at the end of the bridge, it will collapse and fall, taking the Steambots with it if they were not destroyed while Samus casually walks on the edge of the nearby remaining walkway. If the Steambots were ignored, a Friend Voucher for "Stylish Kill" will be awarded.
When Samus returns with the Boost Ball, she can operate two Spinners to energize a Kinetic Orb Cannon, which enables another way of crossing the chasm now that the bridge is gone. In the event of future return trips, Samus may also utilize her Screw Attack to cross the large gap between the remaining walkways.

Construction Bay[]
The Construction Bay is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. From the Maintenance Shaft GP entrance, a lift appears to the left that will take small objects to the platform adjacent to the Ballista Lift entrance. However, this lift is in need of additional power before it may be used. This can be provided by using the Grapple Voltage on a nearby terminal. Other floating platforms lead from the Maintenance Shaft GP entrance to a large structure with four Grapple Points on its bottom. However, metal panels appear between these Grapple Points, though they may be released from a tunnel within the structure. Beyond this structure lies a crane, whose positioning may be adjusted via Hand Scanner.

Ballista Storage[]
Ballista Storage is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The room's entrance hallway leads to a small circular room housing a unique spherical elevator that quickly descends to the room's much larger lower floor once the center is reached. The basement floor includes three large ledges underneath a large communication panel each on three of the room's sides. The fourth side is adorned by a statue of a Chozo head. Under this statue, a locked door, powered by two turbines, is in place to prevent access to an Energy Cell. The turbines may be damaged if excess energy is supplied via the Grapple Voltage. The Defense Drone is battled here, and when defeated, it rewards the Boost Ball.

Escape Pod Bay[]
Escape Pod Bay is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Samus, having narrowly escaped the Spire Pod's destruction, disembarks from her Escape Pod here in a landing cradle, where it remains for the game's duration. This constitutes the room as a "Landing Site", albeit a non-traditional one (i.e. she cannot land her Gunship here). As she leaves, Aurora Unit 217 will send her a transmission requesting that she infiltrate the Elysia Seed. She can revisit this room afterwards - and before she even travels to the Spire - but there is little reason for her to do so.
Whether any other landing cradles exist on SkyTown or other Chozo planets is unknown.

Landing Site A[]
Landing Site A is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. As the name suggests, this room is a Landing Site for Samus Aran's Gunship. There is a Chozebo here on Samus' first visit, which AU 217 partially unlocks for her. Samus finishes the unlocking process by using a Bomb Slot. The room has an elevator down to the actual landing pad, where Samus can call her Gunship to land and save or leave SkyTown. This room has particular use after the destruction of the Elysia Seed Shield, as it is the closest area where Samus can save. Other than this, the room has little importance itself.

Zipline Station Charlie[]
Zipline Station Charlie is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. As with other Zipline Stations on SkyTown, this room is mostly navigated via Zipline Cables and otherwise in the air. Only three platforms exist, at the entrance and exit, and right before the exit.
When Samus first enters this room, she is greeted by a gate with an energy terminal that is completely empty. To unlock it, she must overload it with the Grapple Voltage, upon which the gate remains open. She can then use the Zipline. The only potential hazard while riding the Zipline are mini gates that can be shot open. As Samus nears a platform, noticeable damage to the Zipline becomes visible. It breaks when she lands over top of the platform, likely due to a mechanical failure caused by the two Aerial Repair Drones attempting to repair it. This leaves Samus stranded for the time being, as she is without a means of returning the way she came. There is enough distance for her to Screw Attack to a platform containing the exit door. She can then continue onto the Powerworks, where Aurora Unit 217 has discovered "hidden Chozo artifacts".
After obtaining said artifact - the Spider Ball - Samus will revisit this room on her way back to her Gunship. While the Zipline is now broken, much of it actually remains intact, although it is no longer usable. Samus can utilize the Screw Attack to return to the platform she fell off of, and use her new ability to navigate a complex network of Spider Ball Tracks that stretch over the entire chasm. to get from one area to another. Unique to this room, many of the Tracks twist and turn, or exist between electrical currents, which can knock Samus into the planet below if she touches one of them. Samus can pass these with a Boost Jump.
The Tracks end at a pair of platforms across from the initial entrance. On these are a group of three small SkyTown Storage Units, as well as a larger one. Otherwise, Samus can Screw Attack to the entrance and exit Zipline Station Charlie.

Powerworks Access[]
Powerworks Access is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room connects to the Powerworks, where Aurora Unit 217 informs Samus that "Chozo artifacts" (namely, the Spider Ball) have been located. Samus's access to a Morph Ball tunnel is restricted by an energy barrier that is powered by an adjacent Grapple Voltage Terminal. To remove the shield, Samus must use her Grapple Voltage to drain the shield's energy. Once drained, the shield will disappear and Samus can continue on to the objective.

Powerworks[]
Powerworks is a room on SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. A dead-end room housed in a remote Southern portion of Skytown. This room is separated into two sections: a tight small-sized inside room, and an outside open-sky portion next to the room's propulsion device.
Samus cannot access the inner area of the room without the Grapple Voltage and Seeker Missile. This is also where Samus acquires the Spider Ball. The Spider Ball is being contained by a metal barrier. After grappling a gear from a suitable position and blasting it into place, the metal barrier is withdrawn and the Spider Ball is revealed, being held in the hands of a Chozo Statue wearing armor similar to Samus'. This is the only occurrence of a Chozo Statue holding an item in the entire Metroid Prime series, whereas this is ubiquitous in the 2D Metroid saga.
After it is acquired, the Statue moves backwards revealing a hatch which leads to a complex Spider Ball puzzle on the base of the building. Several open segments have flames pouring out of them which will detach Samus from the Spider Ball Track and send her falling. A Missile Expansion can be collected by taking a different rail route after reaching the end of the main rail puzzle. After this, Samus can leave the area to explore the Pirate Homeworld more deeply.

Turbine Chamber[]
The Turbine Chamber is a room in Eastern SkyTown on Elysia, appearing in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room is the site of Samus's second battle against a Berserker Lord, and is also where she obtains the first component for the Theronian Bomb. This room seems to function largely as storage for the first Theronian Bomb component. On the room's lower level, two electromagnetic cradle arms hold the component in place, with ropes that must be shot to sever them and allow for the Bomb to split so Samus can continue through the room. On the upper level, a complex locking mechanism holds the platform that covers most of the component in place. A turbine (likely for cooling of the Bomb component) is running at the very bottom of the room and is rapidly circulating air throughout the room.
At the top of the room, Samus fights another Berserker Lord. After destroying it, she can use four Spinners to release clamps holding down the Component. After this, she must use a Combination Lock to fully release the Component so her ship can collect it. After it is collected, the Combination Lock's terminal turns and reveals a drop shaft for Samus to descend in Morph Ball form.
Despite its name, this room contains no objects directly identified as turbines. This may be referring to the bomb component, which acts as a turbine of sorts while positioned in the lower part of the room.

Traversing this gap requires advanced movement capabilities. The room is extremely well-lit, with almost every decoration along the walls providing light as well as Chozo aesthetic. Where its counterpart room Maintenance Shaft OB has a Grapple Point, this room has only a broken piece of metal architecture that periodically showers the room in sparks.

The room is a fairly long corridor without a floor; if Samus falls she will respawn on the top ledge with slight damage. SkyTown Federation Landing Site[]
The SkyTown Federation Landing Site (known as Landing Site B on the World Map) is the third Landing Site on SkyTown. It is located in Eastern SkyTown, and is where Samus acquires the Ship Grapple Beam. It is similar in design to the other Landing Sites on Elysia, Main Docking Bay and Landing Site A. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The main landing pad is met by a walkway that leads back inside the SkyTown facility. An elevator takes users to a higher level inside and is where the next room's connecting Door is situated. The main pad can be rendered inaccessible by a Chozebo, a set of retractable plates opened to form a sort of shield that covers the landing pad. The shield can be removed by a control terminal on a small ledge that branches off from the walkway. However, it cannot be removed if it has been locked in place by metal arms that can be removed by Aurora Unit 217. This shield can also act as a repair and upgrade station for docked ships. The control terminal can operate these functions.
Large metal rings circle the Landing Pad and act as support by being attached to the walls of the facility which the Landing Site faces. They also carry patterns in their design. The Federation Landing Site is also blemished with patches of Phazon. Growths can be seen on the landing pad itself, and veins carrying the substance grow around the tower part of the Site which houses the elevator.

Piston Hall[]
Piston Hall is a room in Eastern SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Many rotating gears are present on the walls in this room. This room leads from Turbine Access to underneath the Concourse. In the middle of the room there is a gap, which will hurt Samus if she falls through it. On the other side of the gap is a rotary hatch which rotates around a small circular section of the room. The wall alternates between blocking Samus from reaching the other side, or blocking Samus from leaving the section of the room. Samus must time a Screw Attack carefully in order to avoid hitting the wall and falling into the gap.
Despite its name, the room contains no pistons.

Maintenance Shaft CC[]
Maintenance Shaft CC is a room in Eastern SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room serves as an access to Zipline Station Delta from the room Concourse, or vice versa. Like all maintenance shafts, there is a chasm below leading to heating coil-like objects that Samus must traverse. However, the catch is this time that the chasm is far too wide for her to jump. She must take advantage of a Grab Ledge leading to a morph ball tunnel.

This area has two parallel levels that allow access between higher or lower areas of the same two SkyTown pods. The top level consists of a zipline across the two distant ledges. A rider on this zipline faces no obstacles. The lower level includes three floating platforms in the gap between the ledges. Xenoresearch A Lift[]
Xenoresearch A Lift is a room in Eastern SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room is an elevator that leads to Xenoresearch A, hence the name. From inside the elevator, two skeletons of creatures that resemble the Parasite Queen can be seen at the bottom and top of the elevator. One of them appears to be still alive, as it seems to be slightly moving. When Samus reaches the top of this room, she can find an Energy Tank inside a glass storage unit reinforced with a barrier. Another one that is empty is right beside it. Samus can see the Energy Tank, but will not be able to pick it up until the research station has lost power. Once the research station has lost power, this will cause the barrier to be removed and Samus can pick up the Energy Tank by shooting the glass storage unit with strong fire. The Phazon Metroid will have disappeared.

Xenoresearch B[]
Xenoresearch B is a room in Eastern SkyTown. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This room is composed of connected corridors lined with containment units, many of which hold a Phazon Metroid. Not all hallways connect directly to one another, giving the room a mazelike feeling. Locking mechanisms are in place and prevent access to certain areas of the room. These mechanisms require the Seeker Missile to unlock. The room contains multiple narrow tunnels accessible only by small objects. A separate corridor leads to the Energy Cell providing most of the pod's power. Samus has to remove it to get the Seeker Missile, but doing so turns off the lights and removes the shielding of the containment units, unleashing the Phazon Metroids. Unsettling music begins playing once Samus leaves the Seeker Missile chamber and continues to play in the Xenoresearch Labs for the duration of the game.
