Masahiro Kawano is a longtime programmer at Nintendo in Japan. Before joining Nintendo, Kawano was in the faculty of computer engineering at the Kyoto Institute of Technology, from 1988-1992.[1] Kawano was credited under special thanks in Super Metroid; he presumably assisted with the programming of the game.
