Masaru Okada is or was an employee of Nintendo. Okada was a debugger for Metroid II: Return of Samus and credited under special thanks for Super Metroid. Okada has also been credited in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo (Mystery of the Emblem), Mario's Tennis and Teleroboxer. The latter two games were released in 1995; he has not been credited in a game since. Because of this, it is likely that he has since left or retired from Nintendo.
