Matad Jinchozo (as named within the internal data) is a jingle in Metroid: Samus Returns. It plays when a Chozo Seal is successfully activated, and drains the purple liquid that blocks off access to the next area of SR388. While this jingle is unique to Samus Returns, its melody is based directly upon Ice Chapel and its arrangement is similar to other fanfares such as the Get Artifact Jingle (which also appears in Samus Returns). The word "Matad" is a reference to "Project Matadora", the game's development codename.
