How to help out

• If you want to help but you're not sure where to start, try improving the various stub articles by adding content.
• Another helpful activity would be to check the list of wanted pages for frequently linked-to articles that don't exist yet.
• To follow the changes to this wiki, and to look out for new users and edits use recent changes.
• You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates.
• If you need help editing, you could start with Help:Editing or the tutorial on the Central Wikia.
• Some tasks might warrant community opinion; start a discussion on an article's talk page.

Things to do

Useful activities Help expand some article stubs. Locate and mark pages that need expanding as article stubs. Create links to some orphaned pages. Upload and add some images! Visit Special:Upload. Be sure to add proper licensing, like {{fairuse}}. Write a new article that's on the the wanted list! Consider splitting up very long pages into different pages or subpages. Create some links on dead end pages. Clean up speculation on articles and add citations when needed.

Are you unregistered?

You do not have to log in to read Wikitroid. You don't have to log in even to edit articles. Nevertheless, creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, and it's generally considered a good idea to do so for a variety of reasons.

Benefits given to users with an account The use of a username of your choice. The ability to easily review all your contributions via a "My contributions" link. The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you. The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website for your viewing. The right to be heard in elections and have your vote count. Creating an account will hide your IP address. Editing unregistered makes it visible to the public, and if you like privacy, then creating an account is recommended. The ability to receive new messages via your user talk page.

Other abilities The ability to edit semi-protected pages. Your account must be at least four days old to do this, but these pages can never be edited by unregistered users. The ability to rename pages. The ability to upload images.

So as you can see, making an account can be very rewarding. So why not create an account right now and become a member of the community?
