The Medical Space Station is a round space station in an unknown location. It is seen in the final chapter of Metroid EX. The people aboard this station are seen in a montage observing the black hole spawned by Greed in the Extreme Galaxy. One person exclaims that "station nine" has been sucked into the hole. Dr. Diana Apronika, the mother of Joey Apronika, wonders if something has happened to him. Presumably, she came here to resume her medical work after he rescued her on Degrade.
The station is surrounded by a ring divided by numerous spheres. The ring around the station is not unlike that of the BOTTLE SHIP. The station itself is shaped similarly to a fountain, with a valve-like spout at the top.
