“ | Use the magnetic Wii Remote toy to propel the ball through the maze! | ” |
Though Burger King and other fast food chains have offered Nintendo themed toys many times, the Metroid Challenge is the first Metroid-themed toy from a fast food chain. It is a small Morph Ball maze that the player controls with a magnetic Wii Remote. Art used as the backdrop for the maze was derived from the cover of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The set it is from was offered during the month of December 2008. A demonstration of the toy can be found here: [1]
