The Metroid Medallion is a necklace item released in promotion of Super Metroid. Sold through the Nintendo Power Super Power Supplies Catalog in winter 1994 for $12 [1] alongside Metroid posters and a hat, it is now a rare collector's item. It is a silver-plated pendant attached to a black leather rope, and features the Screw Attack symbol on the front, and the Super Metroid logo on the back. The medallion is 1 ½” in diameter, while the cord is 30 inches long. A similar medallion was offered for the original Killer Instinct through the same catalog.
