Metroid Prime: Episode of Aether is a manga series based on the events of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes that spans seven issues of Comic Bom Bom in Japan. Bom Bom is a monthly magazine published by Kodansha. This series was written by Matsumoto Hisashi from issue July 2005 to January 2006.
The story begins with a fight with Pirates and an unknown character prior to the events of the game and continues on in the second chapter to show Samus finding two surviving Galactic Federation Marines, an injured woman, and a young boy on Aether.
The Metroid Database currently has 2 volumes on their website in the original format, though the first is poorly scanned, and they have announced that they will not translate the manga until the rest of the chapters are scanned and the first is re-scanned.
