A promotional cookie was included in press kits for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes in 2004. The cookie was perfectly round in shape and colored white, with the game's logo in the middle and a rocky black texture, possibly crystallized sugar or another candy. Its flavor is unknown, as is who made them. One of these cookies was placed up for auction for $129.99 USD in 2011, still in its wrapper, although by that point it is reasonable to presume that this cookie was no longer edible.[1][2] A new photo of cookie was posted on the social media site BlueSky by user @schwbby, unrelated to the one that was auctioned, it was in a folder with other promotional material, further details are unknown.[3]
