The trailer opens with several shots of Fury Green, including the inside of a jungle and then to a bridge-like section before showing off the title of the game as a chorus hums in the background. It then cuts back to the jungle to show a light blue wormhole and Samus in a fetal position exiting from it, with a noticeably different appearance (namely, the lines on her Varia Suit and her visor are now light purple). Samus Aran's Appearance Fanfare plays as Samus looks at her new surroundings and a swarm of Sickleflies fly past her before cutting to first-person view.
As Samus advances forward and the Fury Green music begins to play, the narrator reveals the planet's name is Viewros, with a subtitle for "Planet Viewros" appearing at the bottom left corner as he says this. As gameplay goes forward and shifts to a cliffside, the narrator mentions Samus emerged on the planet and specifically notes a massive tree in the center as being one of the things she found. The narrator then explains that Samus was unexpectedly teleported to the planet, and she needs to survive and escape its environment. As Samus scans a Lamorn statue, the narrator explains she needs to scan various objects for clues on how to proceed. She then scans a beetle variant nest, and uses its description to launch a charge beam at it to break open a path for her before emerging in a cavern. It then shows a scene as Jungle Grievers emerge to ambush her from above as the narrator states this. It then cuts to a Rootspur attacking her in a dried up creek, and later some Glottagroppers ambushing her from underground, before cutting to the bridge area where more Jungle Grievers attack her.
It then cuts to a scene where Samus is absorbing unknown energy, with the narrator mentioning that Samus can develop ancient powers known as Psychic Abilities during her trek throughout Viewros as the subtitle lists this at the bottom left. As the narrator explains their properties, gameplay shows Samus using her hand to remove a Psychic Mote from a door before moving it to a structure to her left to open a door. It also shows her using the Control Beam, a new beam variant that has her using her beams to hit her enemies via her mind as the narrator reveals this. It also shows Samus using her hand to movie a turntable device in front of her as the narrator asks why they were bestowed upon her in the first place.
It then cuts to a scene where Samus approaches a hologram of Chatoyant Vooloon, who refers to her as the "Chosen One" and welcomes her. A scene plays of her traveling to a building in front of her, Samus traversing in Morph Ball form, moving her hand across a door, and the ground being engulfed in light in front of her. It also shows a Galactic Federation Heavyweight-Class Golem embedded in branches, and a Metroid flying and fusing with Aberax as the narrator questions Samus's fate upon being summoned to the planet. It then shows Samus fighting Carvex as the narrator mentions the intertwining threads beyond space and time are weaving a new tale as Samus is apparently levitating from absorbing more Psychic Abilities. It then shows the title of the game and listing the release date as being in 2025 as the Lamorn says in its language, "We place our faith in you. Chosen One." The trailer then ends with Samus emerging from an advanced device in the Vi-O-La Suit.
