Drill Shaft 2
The Mining drill is a technology that Samus Aran encounters when in Phazon Quarry or Drill Shaft 2 on the Pirate Homeworld, in their mines. In the former location, it is used to cut through ore on the walls, and in the second location, Samus must use her newly acquired Nova Beam to loosen it, by firing at the joints protected by Phazite.
