Missile Keys are a unique key item found in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Appearing in M03: Smokestack, M11: Uplink and M19: Incursion, the Federation Force is required to find this Key to open a Shield Door and continue on through the mission. The key is found in the environment, either in the clutches of an enemy or within a nearby crate.
In M19, it is frozen inside of an ice stalactite right next to the door. Once it is collected, it can be fired at the door to unlock it. The Missile Key makes a unique sound when it is collected, and when it is fired at a door lock.
