Unidentified Life Form 43 is a small, tiny moth creature seen in all areas on Aether except for the Sanctuary Fortress in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. They inhabit light areas. In the Great Temple, if left alone U-Mos will create a ball of light that will attract the moths, and if the ball of light disappears, the moths will disperse. This will also happen to Samus if she is in her Morph Ball form, where they will fly around her, following her. This is due to the fact that they see the light inside the ball and are attracted to it.
