Movie Ending[1] is a theme from Metroid: Samus Returns. It was arranged by Daisuke Matsuoka, based on themes by Kenji Yamamoto.
Description[]
Movie Ending is heard during the ending cutscene, played immediately after the defeat of Proteus Ridley on the Surface. It plays as Samus Aran and the baby abandon Ridley's unmoving body and then depart from SR388 in Samus's Gunship.
Movie Ending itself is a short medley of other themes from Samus Returns. It begins with Boss Go, seemingly referencing the track's use as a post-boss battle theme in this game. It then segues into an arrangement of In the Cockpit, which is slightly different from the one heard on the Samus Data Screen (higher-pitched). Much like Result from Metroid: Other M, the track ends with the triumphant final notes of Theme of Samus Aran, Space Warrior from the credits of Super Metroid.
