Movies is a game mode in Metroid Prime Hunters. Appearing as an option on the Samus Data Screen, it marks the first time a player has been able to watch the game's cutscenes without having to play through the game. It is thus a precursor to the Theater Mode of Metroid: Other M. Both modes require the player to complete the game at least once to unlock the cutscenes. Unlike Theater Mode, Movies does not have a continuous option, so all cutscenes, when ended, will return the player to the Movies select screen. The player will have to manually select each cutscene to watch them. This is likely due to their short length and the lack of emphasis on story compared to Other M.
