Nate Bihldorf, also known as Nathan Bihldorff or N8, is a senior localization manager and producer of Nintendo Treehouse, the localization division of Nintendo of America. His most well known works are on the Mario & Luigi series, the Paper Mario series, and Animal Crossing. He also voiced the Head Quarantine Officer in Metroid: Other M and wrote the Logbook entries in Metroid Prime prior to Retro Studios hiring writers for the sequels.[1]

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 with a degree in English with concentration in creative writing. He first worked for Nintendo as a video game tester on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and later worked at Nintendo Power.

During the Nintendo Media Summit in 2010, he gave an interview to about Metroid: Other M. He also appeared on the August 30, 2010 episode of Nintendo Week to show the hosts some gameplay in the game. Bihldorf assisted in the localization of Metroid: Samus Returns.

Bihldorf has localized many games including Metroid: Zero Mission from the Metroid series, as well as others such as WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. He also provided voice acting for WarioWare: Touched! and the Mario series as Shy Guy, and writing for Animal Crossing. Bihldorf was also credited in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for "interpretation/translation and writing", and "public relations and coordination" in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
