Nintendo eShop - Metroid 2: Return of Samus Trailer is a minute-long online trailer for the Nintendo eShop re-release of Metroid II: Return of Samus. It was uploaded to the Nintendo YouTube channel on March 27, 2012, despite the game having been released on Virtual Console a few months before.
The trailer begins and ends with the Title Screen. After displaying the Title Screen for the first time, the trailer transitions into a sequence of gameplay clips, with the Surface theme playing throughout. Most of the clips depict combat with enemies and navigation. Samus is shown fighting an Alpha Metroid, two Gamma Metroids, a Zeta Metroid and an Omega Metroid. The Arachnus' death is shown soon after the Omega Metroid. Enemies she is shown destroying include Hornoads, Halzyns, Rock Icicles, Autracks, Chute Leeches, Yumee and Wallfires.
