Null Plating is a MOD in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Only one copy of this MOD can be equipped at a time. When equipped, the Federation Force Marine using it will have a 30% chance to take no damage to their Mech from enemy attacks, which can be useful when playing missions on Hard Mode. Combined with Shield Generators, if they can be equipped for a particular mission, this MOD can ensure that Federation Force soldiers take little to no damage as they proceed, especially on harder missions with an emphasis on Space Pirate combat.
