Omega Pirate,[1] also known as VS. Omega Pirate (VS.オメガパイレーツ )[2] or Omega Pirate Battle,[3] is the theme for the battle with the boss of the same name in Metroid Prime.
Description[]
The Omega Pirate theme is largely a slow piece with high-pitched choir melody accompanied by "heartbeat" percussion rhythms, giving it a more mysterious and ambient tone than most other boss themes, although it is occasionally broken up by a more sinister-sounding melody played on low-pitched electronic instruments. The theme also appears in Metroid Prime Pinball, but is looped differently, abridging the track to just the opening notes.
It is included on the Metroid Prime & Fusion Original Soundtracks and available in the Soundtrack Gallery in the Wii rereleases of the game. Omega Pirate was used in the Overview Trailer for Metroid Prime Remastered.
