Private First Class L. Brouda was a Galactic Federation private on board the G.F.S. Tyr when it crash landed on Aether. He also helped set up a base of operations unknowingly next to the Splinter Hive. SPC D. Senge (engineer) told Brouda that they weren't going to make it off the planet. Brouda also lost a watch duty bet to PFC S. Milligan, and as a result Milligan was killed by Dark Splinters. PFC L. Brouda then had to guard the "hot zone" and also died when attacked by Dark Splinters by plenty of fatal wounds left by their claws.

Logbook entry

We'll be making our stand here. The engineer tells me there's no way we'll get the ship's engines online, and the atmospheric conditions are scrambling our distress beacon. If anyone reads this, know that we did our duty and fought well.

"What's the matter? All I said was that Komaytos look like little Metr-"

Non-canon warning: This article or section contains information that may not be considered an official part of the Metroid series in the overall storyline by Nintendo.

Data from the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc shows that the Logbook entries of Brouda and Captain A.C. Exeter were swapped for the final game. Brouda's original Logbook entry had an extra sentence: "I'd rather take my chances on the surface, back at the ship...or out in that desert, with the Space Pirates." Brouda was also named as S. Dudley, and the bet Milligan made was with Senge instead.

Non-canon warning: Non-canonical information ends here.
