Phazon Area (フェイゾンエリア)[1] is an ambient music theme from Metroid Prime. It plays in certain areas rich with Phazon, specifically Transport Tunnel E in the Tallon Overworld, Quarry Access in Phazon Mines Level One, Metroid Quarantine A and Elevator Access B in Phazon Mines Level Two, and most rooms in Phazon Mines Level Three.
The theme was remixed twice in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: one remix is the theme of the Leviathan Seeds, and the other was arranged into the Phaaze theme. The original theme is also heard on the first visit to the Corrupted Pool room in Bryyo Fire before Samus goes into Phazon Overload for the first time, and in the Leviathan Battleship before she inputs the Pirate Code.
