Plant003 is a species of flower-like plantform in Metroid Dread. They appear in at least six rooms within Ghavoran, including the chamber where Samus battles a golden Robot Chozo Soldier.
This species is non hostile to Samus Aran and they cannot hurt each other. When she approaches one of these plants, its petals fold up and around its stigma in a spinning fashion, and do not open until Samus enters two additional rooms before returning to its location.
Plant003 does not appear to be affected by the later X Parasite outbreak, since their appearance and behavior do not change and they cannot be killed to release X. Although ADAM instructs Samus to assume all bioforms on ZDR have been infected, the X have been known to ignore species they deem as potentially weak hosts, which they may have done with this plantform.
