The Psychic Beam is a Psychic Ability in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It is an upgrade to the Power Beam that can open psychic Doors on Viewros, but is otherwise functionally identical albeit with a purple coloration. It is acquired from the Psychic Crystal shortly after Samus arrives on Viewros.

Depositing 25% of Green Energy Crystals at the Altar of Legacy unlocks the Psychic Beam Upgrade, increasing its damage and projectile travel speed and giving its shots a red tint.
