The Psycho-Amplifier was a (likely psionic) machine used in the Super Metroid Nintendo Power comic. Ridley uses it to amplify the cries of Chief Hardy to lure Samus Aran away from the Nest back to planet Zebes, into Ridley's trap to kill her in front of the baby. Despite Chairman Keaton's efforts to keep the frightened Hardy quiet, Samus hears his amplified cry and returns to Zebes.
