- This article is about the music track. For the enemy, see Psycho Bit.
Psycho Bits,[1] also titled Enemies,[2] is a theme from Metroid Prime Hunters. It was composed by Lawrence Schwedler.
Description[]
As the name implies, it first plays during a fight against a large group of Psycho Bits in Data Shrine 01 of the Celestial Archives. It can also be heard during a battle against Barbed War Wasps in the Ice Hive on Arcterra, and during a battle against a variety of Voldrums in the Council Chamber on Alinos. It is also available as track 09 in the Music Test after Gorea's final form is defeated.
The original theme is featured in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on the Pyrosphere stage. Psycho Bits returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be played on any stage from the Metroid series, and is notably played during the Spirit Battles for Trace and Kanden (the only two Spirits from Metroid Prime Hunters). It also plays on Gerudo Valley during Leon's Spirit Battle.
The theme can be heard here.
Trivia[]
- As of the "Oust Resident Evil!" Spirit Board event, Psycho Bits is the only Metroid song to be used in a Spirit Battle outside the Metroid series.
- Schwedler was unaware that one of his tracks was in Super Smash Bros. until one of his students at the DigiPen Institute of Technology told him. He called it a complete honor.[3]
