Pursuit[1] is a tense theme in Metroid Prime Hunters. It was composed by Lawrence Schwedler.

Description[]

Pursuit is heard twice in Adventure Mode. The first time is when Samus Aran encounters Kanden in Data Shrine 02 on the Celestial Archives. The theme continues to play as Samus pursues the Enoema Bounty Hunter to Data Shrine 03, at which point his battle theme begins to play.

Later, Pursuit is heard again when Samus is attacked by Spire in the High Ground on Alinos. It continues playing as Samus battles Voldrums and Spire in the Elder Passage, acting as Spire's first boss theme during this initial encounter. Once Samus returns to the High Ground to finish the fight with Spire, Spire's standard battle theme replaces Pursuit. After this, the theme never plays again during the campaign.

Pursuit is made available as track 11 in the game's Music Test after Gorea's second form is defeated.

The theme can be heard here.
