The Quarantine Bay is a bay located on the Biologic Space Laboratories research station that once orbited SR388.
The Quarantine Bay is one of the first rooms Samus visits on the station. Samus is sent to the station to investigate an explosion in the room. Once she arrives at the room, she finds it in ruins with a lone Hornoad roaming about in the room.
Apparantley, the first SA-X had used a Power Bomb to destroy the container it was in, causing the room to be destroyed and releasing all X Parasites into the station. As a result, all life on-board was destroyed, and was infected with the X Parasites.
Trivia
- The Quarantine Bay is the only room still open after you defeat the SA-X and escape to your ship.
