Rapid-Fire Helmet

The Rapid-Fire Helmet is an item exclusive to Nintendo Land. In Metroid Blast, this upgrade can be obtained from a Question Mark. The upgrade gifts the playing Mii character with Samus' helmet and a rapid-firing Arm Cannon. Similar to Mario upgrades, the helmet will be lost if the Mii is hurt, but it will also count as an extra hit point so the Mii does not lose any health. The Rapid-Fire Helmet can also be randomly unlocked as a prize for Nintendo Land Plaza.

An enhanced form of the Rapid-Fire Helmet, known as the Golden Helmet, is an assist item that Monita presents to a Mii in Assault Mission if a particular mission has been failed twice. In co-op multiplayer, only one Mii is randomly presented with the helmet. In addition to the rapid-fire ability of the standard helmet, the Golden Helmet doubles the Mii's maximum health to 6. It is entirely optional to pick up, but doing so will disqualify Miis from achieving Master Rank during that attempt. Unlike the Rapid-Fire Helmet, the Golden Helmet is not lost when taking damage.
