Recoil Reduction is a green MOD in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. When equipped, the recoil that occurs upon firing AUX ammo is reduced by an unknown, but presumably minuscule amount. This sometimes means that the ammo in question, often lobbing items such as Repair Capsules or Decoys (which have a slow rate of fire and activation), can be fired again more quickly. Certain AUX projectiles, namely Missiles have a reasonable rate of fire on their own, so this MOD may augment the natural rate of fire. In the case of Missiles, this MOD may act as an official Rapid Fire ability.
