The Red Starburst is a harmless, edible species of flowering vine found on Tallon IV. They are encountered as minor elements of scenery in the game Metroid Prime.
These plants form long vines, similar to real-world ivy, over walls and even stretching across gaps. The flowers are bright red, quite large (larger than the Morph Ball), and five-petaled, vaguely resembling hands or stars.
Red Starbursts can be found in Landing Site, Waterfall Cavern, Transport to Magmoor Caverns East, Transport to Tallon Overworld West and Transport to Phazon Mines East.
