The Omega Pirate's Repulsion Shield
The Repulsion Shield is a technology used by Elite Pirates, as well as the Phazon Elite and Omega Pirate. This technology reflects Samus Aran's weapons fire and is mounted on the Elite Pirate's arm. When using the attack, it will raise its arm in front of its face and move towards Samus. Her shots will not be able to affect the Elite while the shield is active. The mounting of this shield on an Elite Pirate's arm, as well as the pose it assumes when using the shield, is similar to Wonder Woman and her indestructible bracelets.
