Researcher Work Clothes (研究員作業着)[1] are, as the name implies, the clothing of a BOTTLE SHIP Lab Worker.
The clothing consists of a lab coat, usually white (although Dr. Madeline Bergman's coat has a slight teal tint), as well as dark pants and shoes. The lab coat features a button on the left breast, which can be pressed to bring up a holographic identification badge. Madeline does this to confirm her identity to Samus Aran. MB wears her own personalized outfit. The deceased Lab Workers encountered by Samus have their coats stained with green blood and also dirt. Aside from the coat pants, and shoes, they also at times wear a gas mask with a large visor, as can be implied by the concept art.
The Researcher Work Clothes are very similar to those worn by the scientists in the Space Science Academy and Biologic Space Laboratories, although it is unconfirmed if it is the same specific outfit or if the latter are merely similar generic lab coat designs.
