Rich Amtower

Richard E. Amtower IV, better known as Rich Amtower, is the Director of Localization, Product Development and Publishing at Nintendo of America since 2001. His specialties include editing and writing game scripts, directing voice acting, writing scripts for voice-recording and dubbing. He is fluent in The Chicago Manual of Style as well.

Amtower managed the North American localization of Metroid: Samus Returns, Metroid Dread, Metroid Prime Remastered, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and numerous other games such as Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Hyrule Warriors, Yoshi's Woolly World and Star Fox Zero. He supervised the voiceover recording of Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and Xenoblade Chronicles X, while providing additional voices for the latter and also acting in Mario Golf: Advance Tour.

He previously worked at Square, now Square Enix as an editor for Chocobo Racing, and at Blizzard Entertainment in the late 1990s. From 2000-2012, he also worked freelance for VIZ Media, dubbing Dr. Slump and Tegami Bachi into English.
