The Rodomithon-X[1] is a hybrid of Rodotuk and Obsydomithon created by X Parasites.
Description[]
On ZDR, Rodomithon-X are first found quarantined in Elun. After the X Parasites are released from containment by Raven Beak, Rodomithon-X can later be found in Burenia and Ferenia.
Rodomithon-X hybridize the wall-mounted behavior and general body shape of the Rodotuk with the black rock-like skin and fire-spewing abilities of the Obsydomithon. It clings to walls, floors, and ceilings and blows an impenetrable stream of fire when Samus approaches, behaving similarly to a living flame jet. Noticeable embers are emitted from the creature's mouth when it is breathing fire. The fire is capable of hurting Samus even when she is Screw Attacking; contact with the flames deals 40 units of damage. Samus must dispatch the creature or freeze it with an Ice Missile in order to pass safely.
