The Ruins Entrance is a room in the Chozo Ruins. It appears in Metroid Prime. It is a small room, open to the sky, with a sandy floor containing several broken pillars, whose age cannot be identified by carbon dating according to a scan. Two Beetles attack when Samus walks into the open area. The Chozo Lore entry "Beginnings"/"Fountain" is on a plaque above the door.
A Secret World can be found in this room: [1]

Scans[]
- Pillars
- "These pillars have collapsed from erosion. Carbon dating cannot determine the age of the structures."
- Fountain (NTSC only)
- "At the highest point of our city lies the fountain, a wellspring of pure water that flows throughout our civilization. It is the jewel of the Chozo, the life-giver, and yet its waters speak of a clouded future. As we come to understand the paths of time and space more clearly, we have begun to glimpse rough tatters of past and future, glittering behind reality like soft lights behind a curtain. We have seen the fountain in these glimpses, pouring darkness instead of water, and we cannot guess what the visions mean."
- Beginnings (PAL only)
- "The history of the Chozo stretches back into ancient times, so far into the fog of the past that we know not where our ancestors came from. One thing is clear, however: the Chozo who colonized Tallon IV made a conscious chice to eschew a civilization of advanced technology. We Chozo chose to live in harmony with nature, guided by the providence of the universe. We believe we will spend peaceful days here and plan to leave our words from time to time."
Trivia[]
- While the outside walls of the Piston Tunnel can be seen from here, both the Training Chamber (Chozo Ruins) and the top of the nearby transport are not visible, even though they should be at ground level.
