Ryan Harris is the director of production at Retro Studios. Having joined the company in , he worked in a producing role on all three games in the Metroid Prime series. Harris went from being a production assistant for Metroid Prime to assistant producer for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Following the conclusion of the trilogy, he was assigned to work at Nintendo in Japan as a communication coordinator. In 2012, Harris returned to Retro as the director of production, a position he still holds as of 2016.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Harris' primary role "ranged from managing the testing and submission process to managing one of the art and design pipelines." He also contributed to the camera design of Echoes and Corruption.
