Unknown Life Form 12 is a life form found within Leviathan Seeds. Resembling a floating platform with squid-like tentacles coming out from beneath it, which are dangerous should they come in contact with Samus, it is used to reach the core where the boss is located. These life forms are stated as being semi-sentient.
