Ship Down (as named internally) is a tense theme in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

It plays when the Space Pirates (and in one case, the Federation Fleet) are preparing an attack, in both gameplay and cutscenes. It is first heard when Samus Aran enters the Temple of Bryyo and battles a number of their forces there, continuing until Rundas appears and seemingly saves Samus. It is later heard during the Spire Dock sequence while Samus is defending the Spire from a Pirate onslaught. It is next heard in one of the final cutscenes in the game, where the Federation Fleet and Samus Aran's Gunship activate the Leviathan Battleship's wormhole and use it to reach Phaaze. It is finally heard in the cutscene after Aurora Unit 313’s death, in which the Federation frantically escapes Phaaze through the wormhole before the planet explodes.

The theme revolves around a repeating pattern of four notes that are paced similarly to Zebetite, the boss theme for Mother Brain in Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission. The melody is primarily brass-based, with high-pitched string accompaniment. The Phaaze escape version adds more strings and frantic instruments, and then concludes with a triumphant remix of Theme of Samus.

The general theme can be heard here, and the escape theme here.
