Skybridge Athene is a room on Eastern SkyTown on Elysia. It appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
Description[]
This room is a bridge suspended high above the clouds of Elysia. Should Samus fall, she will receive damage and respawn back at the top. On the first visit, there are two pairs of four Tinbots that walk along the bridge and attack Samus. After she obtains the Ship Grapple Beam, there is only one pair, and a Space Pirate ATC is also present. This room is notable for housing Tinbots that can enter Hypermode.

The room's internal name is 0z05_skytown_screwline. The name's meaning is unclear; perhaps an earlier version of the room required use of the Screw Attack to traverse. The keyword skytown indicates Skytown, Elysia, and the prefix 0z05 indicates that this is the fifth of 8 sets of exterior pod junction throughout the planet.
Trivia[]
- If Samus returns to this room after gaining the Ship Grapple Beam, she can witness the Tinbots and Space Pirate ATC firing at each other. Shortly, their "feud" will end and they will both turn to fire on Samus.
